And thus, it begins. The sudden, jarring transition into fall. I thought I had sneakily managed to avoid the hottest, most horrible part of the year. But no, the sun gave me one more week of heat, for old time's sake, before abruptly turning consistently cloudy and cool, over night.

Everything has been like that, actually. A sudden, jarring transition. I have been avoiding like a disease the question, "Are you glad to be home?" The weekend right after Kumoricon, I stayed at a hotel and did pretty much the same thing I had while at Kumori, subtract gorgeous Washington state, my best friends, and all the fun parts. That's just mockery.

I've been kept busy and distracted, at least. We're in the process of a extremely slow move. Extremely slow. School started before I even took the plane back home. ('Hooray' for homeschooling.) I can already feel the procrastination driven inspiration to draw. I always get such good motivation and ideas to draw at the sound of Geometry. For some reason, I don't have the same sort of motivation in free time. Maybe because I would much rather be busy with Portal 2?

Which, by the way, has taken a personal hobby of screwing me over. Not only did it put up the biggest tantrum to even install, but by the time I took all of a night and day to download, it couldn't remember where it put the files to run the main menu. Now that I can finally pry oven a new game, I can't even play it. I hear everything, but see nothing. Except the subtitles. (WTF.) I can even blindly grope my way over to the paining on the wall and back, but I can't open the door to let Wheatley in.

-Seems I got a mute and blind Chell.

Aww... that stinks... I wonder what it'd be like to play a game like that all the way through totally blind... would it even be POSSIBLE? Nah. Prolly not without some kind of helper who could see.
